On Sunday 15 September 2024, at 16:00, the evocative scenery of the Fort of Punta Corbin, located in Treschè Conca di Roana, on the Asiago Plateau, will host the event "The Guerrone will come: Words and Sounds of the Great War".
It will be a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the historical and cultural atmospheres of the First World War through an engaging journey between words and music.
The event is curated by Prof. Francesco Toso and the students of the basic singing course of the "F. Venezze" Conservatory of Rovigo, who will interpret songs and readings inspired by the events of the conflict.
Everything will be accompanied by Maestro Paolo Lazzarini at the piano, for a musical experience full of emotion and historical significance.
Among the protagonists who will give voice and sound to this journey down memory lane will be: Francesco Toso, Michele Bregolin, Nicola Rostellato, Nadia Poletti, Elena Cestari and Denis Baldin.
Their interpretations, together with the texts and melodies proposed, will offer a moment of reflection on the sacrifice and difficulties experienced during the period of the Great War.
Admission to the event is free, and is a precious opportunity to visit Fort Corbin, one of the most important testimonies of military fortifications on the Asiago Plateau, immersed in a landscape of extraordinary natural beauty. The majesty of the fort and the silence of the mountain will make the experience even more evocative and exciting, transporting participants back in time and offering them a moment of deep connection with the past.
An unmissable event for lovers of history, music and culture, don't miss it.
