Established in 1927, the Pennar Asiago Dairy is a piece of the history of theAsiago Plateau,which for years has proudly witnessed the great dairy tradition of this mountain territory.

In its three outlets,two in Asiago (in Via Pennar and via Ceresara) and one in Cesuna (on Via XXVII April), you will find only cheeses and dairy products of its own production,of the highest quality, created following the dictates of a strict protocol forhealthy feeding of cows and only with good mountain milk,ren's and salt.

Among the cheeses on sale at caseificio Pennar (including Gran Pennar, Pennarone, Tosela Pennar, caciotte, ricotta, casatelle, butter, etc.), a special mention should be dedicated to Asiago Dop cheese, a product of excellence that over the years has conquered the most demanding palates and several titles in the field of dairy competitions.


The Pennar, in fact, is the most famous dairy of the Plateau: there are many awards obtained at regional, national and international level
Suffice it to say that, as far back as 1930, the Pennar Asiago Dairy was awarded the Gold Medal at the International Exhibition in Paris, and, after winning over the years awards for Asiago Pressato, asiago d'Allevo, Vezzena (Asiago d'Allevo mountain summer production) and Grana Padano, continues to collect awards. 
Among the most recent awards should be remembered the three podiums won in as many editions of the International Olympics of mountain cheeses for Asiago Stravecchio.

In a nutshell, the Pennar Asiago Dairy is synonymous with quality and authenticity: you can be sure that the one produced and on sale here is the real Asiago Dop cheese, recognized by the Consortium for the Protection of Asiago Cheese

Guided tours and events

For those interested in finding out how the dairy's delicious cheeses are produced, guided tours are organized at the main establishment of Via Pennar,in Asiago.
In September, then, the dairy participates in Made In Malga,a very successful event dedicated to mountain cheeses.
