The Valsugana Track is so named because it allows you to reach the northern end of the Asiago plateau, where it overlooks the underlying Valsugana.

The first stretch coincides with that of the Ortigara track, from which it detaches itself at the junction of Monte Forno. From here, taking a right, follow a long slight slope and reach the saddle at an altitude of 1601 m. above sea level.

At this point continue to the junction where the main Moline track marked in red passes, turn left towards Malga Moline along a varied route in which bumps alternate with small descents and plateaus.

About 200 meters from the hut, keep left towards Piazzale del Lozze, cross it and climb north until you reach the Pianoro di Prà della Porta in view of Monte Caldiera. After about a mile and a half flat you arrive at Porta Molina, at an altitude of 2000 m. above sea level, overlooking the Valsugana, overlooking the Dolomites and the villages below (Strigno, Borgo Valsugana, etc.).

The return route covers a short stretch of the track and then turns left. An easy descent, with some short more inclined stretches, leads back to the shoulders of Malga Moline, which you pass on the left. Going down, after a couple of hairpin bends, you reach the plateau of the Buso del Diavolo. From here, after going up and down and having covered a few more curves and a couple of hairpin bends, you then arrive at the junction of Fossetta, which you leave to the left continuing for a while to descend.

Arrived at the rocks of Poggiolo Cattagno you begin to walk along the slight plain, 8 km long, which leads to Malga Mandriele, then to Malga Fiara and finally to Campomuletto. From here you start the descent to the Campomulo Base Refuge.
