The ski area of Monte Verena is about 18 km from Asiago, 10 km from Roana and 12 km from Rotzo and can be reached by roads whose practicability is always guaranteed.

At theHotel Rifugio Verenetta,starting point of the ski lifts, guests have access to free parking with 1,100 parking spaces. At the Hotel Rifugio Verenetta it is also possible to rent skis and toboggans.

On the top of the mountain there is the homonymous Rifugio Verena,a characteristic alpine hut where you can enjoy a refreshing break and the magnificent view of the Entire Asiago Plateau and the Alps.

At the Ski Area Verena 2000 is operational the Ski School Verena 2000 with its instructors, who thanks to many years of experience, can be considered true snow professionals, also qualified toteach skiing to disabled children.

The area of Monte Verena is an ideal destination even in the summer,when it offers the possibility of numerous walks and excursions along very interesting itineraries not only from a naturalistic point of view but also from the historical one. Mount Verena, with its Fort, was in fact during the First World War the scene of countless war events. The first cannonade to start the Great War, was fired from Fort Verena,whose ruins can still be visited today.
