The Ski Area Le Melette is one of the main ski areas of the Asiago plateau. It is located in Gallium, in Melette, and develops between 1400 and 1750 meters above sea level.
Recently renovated with new chairlifts, huts and artificial snow systems, the ski area is located in a strategic position, less than 10 km from the center of Asiago and only 4.5 km from the center of Gallium.The area offers 25km of slopes suitable for everyone: from the easiest ones for those who are starting to ski, to the black slopes for expert skiers.
The area is equipped with 4 ski lifts, including the Detachable Leitner Six-seater chairlift Busa Fonda-Meletta inaugurated in the 2019-2020 ski season. There is also a treadmill at the school field.An equipment rental service is also available.
The ski area is served by a large and convenient free car park, where there is also an electric charging station for cars.
For a refreshing break or to relax and enjoy the sun, the ski area offers its guests two cozy huts totally renovated.
The Sport & Gourmet hut, located at the base of the ski lifts, offers both bar and restaurant service, and has a large and well-exposed sun terrace.The Relax & Gourmet hut, on the other hand, is located higher up and can be reached by chairlift; it too is both a bar and a restaurant.
A Ski School is also operational in the Ski area.

1. RESPECT FOR OTHERSEvery skier must behave in such a way as not to endanger the person of others or cause damage.
2. SPEED MASTERYEach skier must maintain a speed and behavior appropriate to his or her ability, as well as to the general and weather conditions.
3. CHOICE OF DIRECTIONThe skier upstream, who, due to his dominant position, has the possibility of choosing the route, must keep a direction that avoids the danger of collision with the skier downstream.
4. TRAJECTORIESYou have to pay attention to the trajectories of the skiers, in consideration of the type of ski used.

5. OVERTAKINGOvertaking can be carried out both upstream and downstream, on the right or on the left, but always at a distance that allows the overtaken skier to evolve.
6. MINIMUM CLEARANCE FOR OVERTAKING AT THE EDGE OF THE TRACKIt is a good idea for the skier not to bend over the edge of the slope, but always leave enough space to make it easier for him to overtake.
7. CROSSING AND CROSSINGSkiers entering a slope or crossing practice terrain must make sure, by means of visual checks upstream and downstream, that they can do so without danger to themselves or others. The same behavior must be maintained after each stop.
8. PARKINGThe skier must avoid stopping, except in case of absolute necessity, on the slopes and especially in obligatory passages or without visibility. In the event of a fall, the skier must clear the slope as soon as possible.
9. ASCENT AND DESCENT ON FOOTThe skier who climbs the slope must proceed only at the edges of it and is required to avoid this in case of poor visibility. The same behavior must be maintained by the skier who descends the slope on foot.
10. COMPLIANCE WITH SIGNSAll skiers must respect the sign-posting of the slopes.
11. IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENTEveryone must provide assistance in the event of an accident.
12. IDENTIFICATIONAnyone involved in an accident or witnesses it is required to give their personal details.
