Saturday 2 September 2023, the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva, on the occasion of MADE IN MALGA, in collaboration with Asiago Guide, organizes a beautiful and exciting evening excursion to Baito Erio, a strategic point to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni made even more magical by the evocative colors of the sunset.
The excursion will take place from 18:30 to 21:30.
Imagine: the crisp evening air, the last lights behind the Little Dolomites, the crackling fire and in the distance the din don of the cowbells grazing. The magic of a mountain, its sounds, its smells, its colors.
With an easy excursion you will reach the Baito Erio where you can watch the preparation of cheese and taste local cheeses of all ages: a true treasure of this territory.

INS AND OUTS
MEETING POINT: 6:30 pm at the Piazzale del Rifugio Campolongo. It starts on foot from the meeting place. Please note that not all telephone companies have reception at the meeting point.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is about 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: MOUNTAIN BOOTS, LAYERED CLOTHING SUITABLE FOR THE MOUNTAIN CLIMATE, WATERPROOF JACKET, WATER FOR THE DURATION OF THE EXCURSION (AT LEAST 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, any front battery for the return.
COST: 20 € for the guided hike and aperitif, 10 € between 5 and 15 years.
