Live webcam on Monte Corno seen from Malga Malga Mazze Inferiore
This live webcam of Asiago.it offers a privileged view of Monte Corno (1383 m a.s.l.m.), one of the mountains that delimit the Asiago 7 Comuni plateau to the south, separating it from the plain.
The live view from the beautiful Malga Mazze Inferiore frames the southern slope of the mountain and the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, whose structure, with four concrete sails that intertwine, was raised in 1970, in memory of the fallen in the partisan fighting that took place during the Second World War.
At Monte Corno there is also the Alpine Botanical Garden, with over 500 herbaceous, shrubby and arboreal species belonging to the subalpine and mountain flora, located on a stony-rocky promontory between two grazing areas.
Nearby there are the marble quarries and, on the top of the mountain, the rock formations called "rock city", a spectacular work of excavation by the water that percolates on the rocks of ammonite red creating corridors between the large boulders.
In the nearby Piana di Granezza, moreover, there is one of the five English cemeteries existing on the Plateau, where 142 British fallen of the Great War are buried, and among the mixed forests of beech and spruce you can visit a complex system of trenches that was placed to defend the north-western slopes of Monte Corno.

Malga Mazze Inferiore
Malga Mazze Inferiore is located near Monte Corno, on the edge of the Asiago Sette Comuni plateau surrounded by unspoiled nature.
From the hut you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Venetian Plain and, when the sky is clear, you can even see the Venice Lagoon.
From June to September the malgari bring the cattle to the pastures of the malga, to make them live in the open air and eat the grass and the fresh essences of the meadows; their milk is thus enriched by the flowering notes of the fresh herbs with which the cows feed. So the cheese produced by the hut is genuine, tasty and valuable: normal and flavored caciotte, pressed, mezzano, tosella, but also fresh dairy products such as ricotta and yogurt.
Malga Mazze inferiore also produces sausages and a tasty suppressed.
All the products of the hut can be purchased in the small shop open every day from 9 to 19 from early June to late September.
The farmhouse of Malga Mazze Inferiori is open to the public from the beginning of June to the end of September, every day, and offers typical mountain dishes with a frank and tasty taste, prepared with the products of the malga and the territory, such as dumplings, butter and sage, lasagna or pasta with meat sauce, tosella with polenta and mushrooms, cotechino with polenta and sauerkraut, stew or roast with side dish and polenta, melted cheese with soppressa and polenta or mushrooms. Every day, moreover, a dish of the chef's choice is proposed.
You can also taste the excellent products of the hut by having a mixed dish of cheeses and cold cuts prepared or rustic and tasty sandwiches.
And to conclude the stop in malga in sweetness, at Malga Mazze Inferiore are also prepared delicious homemade pies and panna cotta.
The hut can be reached on foot with a pleasant and easy walk of about ten minutes on foot (leaving the car at the parking lot of Monte Corno) or even by car via a dirt road in good condition.
