Snowshoe trails and Nordic walking

The Centro Fondo Campomulo offers its guests numerous paths for snowshoes (snowshoes) and Nordic walking.
Some itineraries have their starting point from the Campomulo base refuge and are always beaten.
Obviously to fully enjoy snowshoeing it is nice to go into the fresh snow, but when fatigue is felt the beaten path allows you to mitigate the effort and reduce the expenditure of energy.
These routes are marked by various colors and are as follows:
- Moline route, 7.5 km long, with two variants: the Variante Taverle, km 2.8, and the Variante Campofilone, km. 1,8
- Monte Longara-Monte Baldo route, 5 km long
- Pope Wojtyla altar at km. 1,8.
- Military Observatory of the Great War, 2.3 km, overlooking the entire Asiago plateau, including the famous mountains of the Great War (Ortigara, Caldiera, Church, Campigoletti, etc.)
- Meimerle route, 5 km long
Other routes start from the Moline Refuge and are not beaten. If you want to tackle the entire route, starting from the base hut, the ideal would be to reach the Moline Refuge on the first day, stay overnight here and perform the rest of the walk the next morning.
An alternative for those who do not feel like it or do not want to face the complete route, considering the distance from the Campomulo Refuge is to reach the Moline Refuge by snowmobile and from here continue with snowshoes.
The routes starting from the Moline Refuge, also marked with various colors, are:
- Ortigara via Lozze route, 4 km long
- Ortigara route via Val dell'Agnella, 4.2 km long
- Cima Caldiera route, 4.5 km long
All routes can be traveled freely in any direction, following the colored signs.
In the short stretches where the route is adjacent to the cross-country trails, you must keep the direction of travel indicated in the signs and proceed in single file. The cross-country ski trails must not be damaged in any way (Regional Law no. 18/1190).
It is always recommended, moreover, respect for nature and the peace of the mountains.
