The Val Formica Ski Area with its easy and sunny slopes is the ideal destination for families,who can spend carefree days there, immersing themselves in the white of the snow and the blue of the sky.

This place, in the 80s called "Asiago 2000", has always been among the favorites of those who seek not only the opportunity to make fun ski descents, but also relax in the sun and breathe the incomparable atmosphere that gives the high mountains.
After a long period of closure, the Val Formica Ski Area has come back to life since winter 2012/2013. After the renovation of a ski lift and the creation of the Winterpark served by a treadmill, a new four-seater chairlift came into operation at the beginning of 2014.

The charm of the landscape of Val Formica is given by the uncontaminated nature from which it is surrounded: pastures and snowy woods and the evocative setting of some of the most beautiful peaks of the Plateau: Cima Larici, Portule, Cima Mandriolo.
In Val Formica the snow, exclusively natural, can be experienced in many ways: skiing, having fun with bobsleighs and rafts, venturing into the surroundings with hiking skis or snowshoes.

Larici Park (currently closed)

Larici Park is designed to welcome and entertain fans of snowboarding and free style. The first of its kind on the territory of the Seven Municipalities,it is the southernmost park in the Alps. Designed byF-Tech in Merano,the park has been integrated as much as possible with existing natural terrain, minimizing interventions and impact with the environment. Larici Park,served by the Asiago 2000 four-seater ski lift,gives fans fantastic experiences with safe jumps, evolutions, flights and landings. Designed to offer a service to a user that goes from the newfound to those with medium-advanced capabilities, it is spread over three different lines for a total of about 1,500 meters:the Easy line (500 meters), the Medium Line (450 meters) and the Family Line (550 meters), all in an area always sunny and surrounded by magnificent nature.

SKI SCHOOL AND RENTAL

The Ski Area is about 18 km from Asiago. The ski lifts start from the immediate vicinity of the Val Formica Refuge and its car park, at an altitude of 1653 metres.

Skis, boots, poles, helmets and snowshoes are available for hire. It is possible to book individual, group and group ski and snowboard lessons with the instructors of the Larici Val Formica Ski School.

HIKING IN THE SNOW

Starting from the Refuge, you can make beautiful excursions with snowshoes, along routes of various kind and length, toward destinations that offer views and unparalleled.

Are also organized to snowshoeing tours, even in evening hours on full moon evenings, with the possibility of combining the dinner in a refuge. It also beat a path that you can follow simply wearing hiking boots, simple but very pleasant to do to enjoy the beauties of the area.

The slopes of Val Formica

Difficulty: Easy

The Ski Area is equipped with a ski lift (Laste II), a four-seater chairlift (Asiago 2000) and the "Val Formica " treadmill. All "Blue", therefore easy, the three slopes: Laste, Direttissima and Asiago 2000.

The treadmill serves the space reserved for the school field and the three tracks for descents with bobsleighs and rafts.
The Winter park welcomes younger guests by offering them a joyful space to have fun in safety.
