The shortest access road is from Val Magnaboschi di Cesuna, easily accessible from the Costo road. From Val Magnaboschi, the Bar Alpino Refuge is 2.8 km away on a dirt road. 

The refuge can also be reached from the Ceresana road, accessible from the Campiello locality at the end of the Costo road, from Monte Corno or from the Boscon locality of the municipality of Roana.
