Baita Chalet Valmaron

The Baita Valmaron, located a few steps from downhill slopes Enego 2000offers refreshment in both winter and summer athletes and tourists visiting in Val Maron and the nearby plain of Marcesina, town dubbed the "Finland of Italy" for its enchanting landscapes and its record-setting temperatures.

In rustic establishments of Baita Maron, guests can unwind after a day spent skiing, or regain strength after a nice hikeand enjoy unique desserts of Lella: from tiramisù light and pleasant, made exclusively with ricotta cheese, panna cotta with cream of malga, through delicious apple strudel and chocolate salami, the snack at Baita Maron has an entirely different taste the taste of the plateau!

Even the meats and cheeses here have a special flavor: come from the Alpine pastures of the surrounding area, that produce them with meat from animals raised on site and the milk of the cows let graze freely on the green fields of the plateau.

The managers

Attention to product quality and care in preparing healthy and wholesome dishes are ensured by Lella, who runs the kitchen.
Lakshmi was cooking teacher at the hotel school of Asiago, he worked for several years at Isola di Albarella and at the hospital in Marostica and Bassano with various tasks. He wanted to then get the diploma of Dietitian to have also a knowledge enabling it to offer its customers a light and healthy cuisine.

The management of the hut and thegreeting of the customers is the responsibility of engaging Marino, who has had the opportunity to gain knowledge in tourism working for about 15 years at the Holiday Inn, with various positions both in Italy and abroad, as an accompanist of skiers, sailor and head-bar.
The great experience and its open character and very helpful put guests at ease: come as guests and leave as friends in most cases.

For about seven years, Marino dedicates itself to cook the grilled meats. He also attended courses to improve the quality of its dishes, ranging from grilled meat with ribs, sausages and brochettes, galletti prepared in the traditional way or lacquered with honey, through delicious cut, succulent chops and steaks.
The meat is always chosen carefully from the butcher, which supplies meats from local farms and guaranteed.

Hiking and mountain biking

But the Baita Maron is not only cooking, is also nature, history and sport.

From the Chalet you can find routes of varying difficulty for people who want to immerse themselves in nature and history of the plateau with hikes and walks really interesting from the naturalistic point of view, and from the town.
From the Cabin, for example, you can reach the Strong Lisser, recently reopened after a long restoration.

Finally, for lovers of mountain bikerides, you can also find mountain biking, to reach and explore the beautiful places of the nearby plain of Marcesina.
