PATH FEATURES

The Panorama Route is one of seven gentle mobility routes proposed by the Municipality of Enego.
This itinerary departs from Stoner, characteristic hamlet of Eneghese, and leads with an easy walk immersed in nature to Mount Spitz (from the cimbro"spitz"i.e. peak, top), summit of a mountainous offshoot that stretches from Stoner between the Brenta Canal and the Valgadena.

Once you reach the top of the mountain, you can admire a spectacular panorama, which ranges to 360 degrees and offers superb views of the Valgadena bridge, but also Mount Lisser, St. Martin's Stakes, Feltrine Peaks and Mount Grappa.

it is interesting to know that Mount Spitz, the destination of this evocative itinerary,in the past housed an alabaster quarry, whose stones were used in the construction of the Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua. The quarry, however, soon ran out.

Overall, theitinerary is easy and can be walked by families,as well as by trekking enthusiasts and trail running. It also lends itself well to nordic-walking and mountain biking.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DOLCE FURNITURE ROUTE "PATH PANORAMA"

The Panorama Trail departs from the center of Stoner (from thecimbro "stone"),characteristic hamlet of the Municipality of Enego.

First, from Stoner, you'll have to go straight down the main avenue, leaving out the roads leading to the contrades of Lessi and Godeluna.

You will then reach Montagnolaresorts. Holding the right, you will then walk around the hill and continue straight, facing first a short ascent and then a stretch of dirt road.
In no time at all, without too much effort and surrounded by landscapes of immeasurable beauty, you will find yourself at the top of Mount Spitz.

Here a stopover is a must to admire the wonderful 360-degree panorama that encompasses all the nearby peaks: to the north you can see the meadows that descend from Mount Lisser and pass through Làmbara; in the east stand the famous St. Martin's Stakes, the beautiful Feltrine Peaks and the Bellunese Dolomites; to the south, on the other hand, you can admire the Grappa massif; massiccio Finally, to the west, here is the gaze on Valgadena and the well-known bridge that connects the municipalities of Foza and Enego and that, with its 175 meters high,is one of the highest viaducts in Italy and Europe.

If you have time, stop at Mount Spitz until sunset: it will be then that, in the deepest silence, the last rays of the day will caress the mountains, dyeing the St. Martin's Stakes pink,in a truly exciting show!
And who knows, in the suggestion of this moment, maybe you will be able to hear in the distance the sad lament of Aldrighetta that, as legendhas it, goes up among the rocks of Valgadena towards the sky, on the brightest nights.

With your eyes and soul full of beauty, you can now get back on your way back, on your way to the end of the descent. Here you will have to keep the right,so as to bypass the hill of the cemetery from the opposite side to that route on the way and then return to Stoner.
