Malga Longara di Dietro rises at 1655 m above sea level on the homonymous Monte Longara. It is a beautiful alpine structure, recently renovated and very well maintained, managed by the Mosele family of Malga Spill in Gallio.
The hut is located in an incomparable position between expanses of pastures and woods, overlooking breathtaking views. It is located along the ring route of Monte Longara, which leads from the Melette di Gallio to the Campomulo Refuge, along which, with a short detour, you can also visit the altar dedicated to Pope John Paul II and the observatory of Monte Cimon.
At Malga Longara di Dietro you can stop for a regenerating and restorative stop. Sitting at the outdoor tables or in the cozy indoor room, you can enjoy tasty platters of cheeses and cold cuts produced by local farms, excellent sandwiches with soppressa, bacon, coppa, speck or cheese, and homemade desserts.
Everything can be accompanied by a good glass of house wine, a fresh agricultural beer or, why not, a sparkling prosecco. And if you are greedy, we advise you to try the juices made by the hut with mountain fruits, such as the delicious blackberry juice.
To welcome you you will find the kindness of the young Valentina and the sympathy of Mr. Bepi of Malga Spill.
