Malga Pusterle

In the middle of a large pasture surrounded by a forest of conifers and beech trees, at 1300 m above sea level, along the Valdassa Road(RoanaAsiago Plateau),stands the beautiful Malga Pusterle.

In this typical highland structure you produce excellent cheeses – including theAsiago Dop – and cured meats, which you can enjoy or buy directly in the farmhouse during the summer period.
From June to September the farm is in fact open both with direct sales to the public, and with a farmservice.

All rights reserved.

Our cheeses and cured meats

The cheeses produced are made with fresh milk, which is milked twice a day by red-bred cows, free to graze in the surrounding meadows.
Among the various dairy productions of Malga Pusterle we find butter, cottage cheese and caciotte, but it is theAsiago Dop the real gem, recognized by the Consortium protection Asiago Cheese,to which the farm is associated.

In addition to the excellent cheeses, Malga Pusterle also produces really tasty cured meats, made from pigs that are raised with whey: suppressed, bellies, ossocolli, but also fillets.
All great products for an appetizing snack, to be enjoyed in a nice mixed chopping board or in a good sandwich.

Eating in the farm

If you fancy a more substantial meal, at lunch thefarm of Malga Pusterle offers a wide choice of traditional dishes, prepared with typical products and of their own production.
The flavors are those of the mountain: soups, minestrone, pastry with cheeses of malga, tosella with mushrooms and polenta, stew, cotechino, not forgetting the homemade sweets, perfect also as a delicious snack.

Immersed in nature

Malga Pusterle is the ideal place to stop during or after a nice hike or mountain bike ride (the farm is located along the routes of the Tobacco Way and the GhertelinaRoute), but also for those who simply want to spend a day immersed in the enchanting scenery of theAsiago Plateau, making a full of pure air and well-being.
From the terrace attached to the farmhouse of the farmhouse, you can admire two famous Altopianese peaks: Cima Portule and Cima Verena,a panorama that will leave you breathless!
