Owned by the Municipality of Levico (TN), Malga Marcai was completely renovated in 2021. Managed by the Ninfea Agricultural Society, it is deeply linked to the production traditions of the Plateau of the 7 Municipalities, thanks to the production of the fine Asiago PDO cheese. In the hut you can also buy and taste other dairy products and cured meats, as well as tasty cold dishes, for a tasty break in the quiet of the mountain.

Malga Marcai can be reached in about 26 minutes by car from Asiago, along a panoramic road that crosses the plateau and climbs towards the Vezzena Pass. From here, to reach the hut it is necessary to leave the car and continue on foot for about 3.5 km along a dirt road, in an easy path surrounded by nature.
The short walk, which is also suitable for families, is the perfect opportunity to gradually enter the authentic atmosphere of the alpine pasture and fully enjoy the beauty of the mountain landscape.

Alpine fauna is also the protagonist here: among the woods and pastures surrounding the hut it is possible to spot roe deer, deer, foxes, wild boars, hares and, with a little luck, the capercaillie.
