From Asiago follow the signs for Gallium. After the town centre, turn left towards Melette/Campomulo. 

Once near the Melette ski lift, park on the left. From here continue on foot along the dirt road forbidden to cars. After Malga Longara Davanti (which is about two km from the starting point), continue along the dirt road for just over a kilometer, until you reach Malga Longara di Dietro. 

The hut can also be reached starting from the Campomulo Refuge and taking the dirt road that starts from the parking lot of the refuge, following the arrows that indicate the direction for the malga and for the Monument to Pope John Paul II.
