Just 22 km from the center of Asiago, this hut is located in the Trentino territory of the Municipality of Levico Terme, but it is closely linked to the production traditions of the Plateau of the 7 Municipalities, in particular thanks to the production of the renowned Asiago DOP cheese.

Managed by the Spiller Agricultural Company, Malga Basson di Sotto is located at 1432 meters above sea level, on a small hill hill from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the vast surrounding pastures and the pass that connects Veneto and Trentino. From here, along the main road, you can also reach the characteristic Cimbrian village of Luserna.

In addition to the production and sale of Asiago PDO, in the malga it is possible to buy and taste other dairy products and cured meats, and enjoy the catering service, which offers simple and tasty dishes of the mountain tradition.

The surrounding environment is populated by a rich wildlife typical of the Alps: roe deer, deer, foxes, wild boars, hares and the majestic capercaillie are just some of the species that inhabit these places.
