
Starting from the 2025 summer season, the management of the malga is entrusted to the Pezzin Mirko Farm, already known and appreciated by the public for the activity carried out until 2024 at Malga Mazze Inferiore. A point of reference that many customers will thus have the pleasure of finding in a new, splendid setting.
During the summer months, the alpine pastures lead the cattle to graze in the meadows surrounding the hut, where they live in the open air and feed freely on wild herbs and flowers. The milk produced is thus enriched with floral and aromatic notes, which are found in the authentic flavor of the mountain cheese, genuine, tasty and valuable.
Every morning, at the end of milking, fresh alpine milk is taken to the dairy, where tasty caciotta, simple or flavored, tasty pressed cheese (aged over a month), mezzano (aged from three to ten months), tosella, but also fresh dairy products such as ricotta and yogurt are produced.
At Malga Pian di Granezza they also produce excellent artisanal sausages, among which an excellent soppressa, genuine and tasty, stands out.
All products can be purchased directly on site at the small shop, open every day from 9 am to 7 pm, from early June until the end of September. A perfect opportunity to take home the authentic flavors of the Plateau and support the local agricultural supply chain.
